About Rules of Discipline and Conduct
Fundamentals:
# College hours normally from 09.00am to 03.45pm in all working days and Saturday from 09.00am to 01.00pm (which may be vary according to time table, so kindly make sure it from college notice board or from our college website)
# Students are expected to be present for the morning assembly at 08.40am compulsorily. Having diary during assembly with the students is a must.
# On reaching late for the assembly, student will get a day’s remark on the calendar with Rs. 5/- per day increasing fine.
# Students are expected to be in proper uniform daily. On failure of finding proper uniform they are liable for fine of Rs. 25/- or will be return to home.
** Dress Code:
# Girls: Chudidar:- Navy blue pant, sky blue top and blue veil.
# Boys: Black formal pant with sky blue full sleeve shirt.
# No colour dress day in week.
# Shoes: Black formal shoes and black socks only (boys and girls).
# Students are expected to take good care of the college assets.
# No student is allowed to leave the college campus during the college hours (from 08.40am to 03.45pm). In-case of illness or any other emergency permission should be obtained from the Principal/Discipline Heads only, but not from Lecturers.
About Attendance:
# Record of attendance will be maintained. Attendance shall be taken at the beginning of each hour. It is compulsory for students to maintain a minimum of 95% attendance in all subjects.
# Student should not be absent from class without permission and don’t ask leave for marriages, festivals and some other trivial matters, except severe issues like health problems.
# Leave letter, must and which should be addressed to the Principal and countersigned by the Parents only (Compulsorily Father/Mother). The leave letters must be signed by class lecturer and handed over to the class lecturer. However attendance cannot be claimed on such absence.
# Leave application for reasons of illness beyond three to four days must be accompanied by a medical certificate and medical bills. In these cases decision of The Principal and Discipline Committee is ultimately final.
# On being absent the student will produce the leave record in the calendar duly signed by the parents along with their presence of father/mother compulsory, not brothers, sisters, uncle, aunty, relatives, etc., before entry to the class.
# So when a student is absent, you (parents) need to make sure to come early the following day to produce your leave record to the Principal and obtain entry to the class.
# In case of long illness the parents are expected to report to the college immediately to avoid further inconveniences.
Common instructions:
# Besides academic excellence the student is given an opportunity for all round development. So it will be encouraging and appreciative of the parents who will make it a point to visit college and take time in the growth of your son/daughter.
# No parent will have a direct approach to any of the lecturers or any employees without the permission of the Principal or taking an appointment.
# No parent will also have any direct access to any student or class without the permission of the Principal.
# The parents coming to college for any work are expected to take their seat provided until they are availed for the work they have come for.
# In case of the absence of the lecturers, the students will avail themselves to the library.
# Parents are expected to be prompt in paying the college fees, examination fees before due time.
# Students failing to submit their marks card on time will be penalized (fine Rs. 20/- per day).
# Students are expected to be with their Identity Card (ID) and Tie without fail and should be preserved very neatly till the completion of the course in the college. They are also expected to produce the same at the exam centre during the final exam.
# The calendar/diary must be brought to college daily, which is mandatory to all students. Lecturers will make confirm of the presence of parents, due to your absence, you must be signed in diary by the Principal, otherwise should buy it in failure to produce.
# Tests & Exams are compulsory, failing which they are not allowed to appear for final examinations.
# Parents are requested to meet the Class Lecturers concerned to ascertain the attendance and progress of their child atleast twice in the month.
# Students should not change their Combination or Section or Language without the prior permission of the Principal and subject staff.
# Students are required to maintain king size (if possible) note books (200pages), for each subject separately.
# Assignments / Projects must be submitted in time with appropriate format and method only. Format of front page of assignment is available on our college website at “download” section (PUC and Degree assignment front pages separately available).
# Students are must be aware while other classes are going on (when you are walking in premises and corridor).
# Bikes are not allowed in premises of college without produce their D.L to the Principal.
# No one permitted to leave their text or note books in side of their study table of the college, in such cases which may not available to them.
# No boy should not fold their sleeves and not to make out shirt. These cases are strongly treated as penalized activities.
# Silence is must within the library.
Specifically for Science Students:
1. No students will take entry to any of the science lab without the Lab Apron.
2. Silence must be strictly observed in the lab as well as cleanliness too.
3. In case of breakage of apparatus in the lab dues to be paid by the students prior to receiving the admission ticket for final exam.
Discipline within and around Premises:
# Students are expected to behave in decent and acceptable manner within and around the premises where the classes are held. Students have to be aware that their actions might inconvenience other students and staff.
# We take very strong exception to any kind of misbehavior. We follow a low tolerance policy & any misbehavior will result in the expulsion of the student.
Dress Code and Appearance:
# A decent and elegant dress (adds to the) the personality of an individual. It pushes up one’s spirits as regards discipline and confidence. It also in its own merits creates an atmosphere congenial for learning.
# Also from the point of view of social security and safety of girls in public, it is better to avoid revealing and provocative dresses. In such matters, parenting should assume a supporting and supervisory role. Dress sense should be based on comfort, appropriateness and tastefulness of choice, rather than trends of fashion and the desire for display.
# In our college we have formed a committee to routinely monitor the dress code. Students should strictly adhere to the dress code.

# Habitual delay in returning of books will result in cancellation of Library membership along with fine.

NOTE TO PARENTS:
1. Your first concern as a parent should be to see that your child (son/daughter) attends the college regularly (absent from college unnecessarily handicap their child’s opportunity to succeed in studies).
2. You can contribute a great deal to your child’s success in the college by encouraging home study. See that your child devotes at least six hours every day for his/ her studies at home.
3. Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the college by enforcing regularity and discipline by evincing interest in their child’s progress and extending the fullest encouragement to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
4. You are requested to go through the Performance Report periodically to ensure your child’s progress in studies & attendance.
5. When you are requested to meet the Head or the class teacher, it should be done immediately because the feedback of the child’s weakness in the class can be directly communicated.
6. A wholesome attitude towards college and confidence in his/her lectures is essential for the child’s maximum success in college. Criticism of your child’s lectures in his/ her presence should be avoided since it gives room for the child to lose respect for lectures and consequently he/she fails to learn from these lectures. Should you have a legitimate complaint, see the Head at the earliest.
7. Withdrawal of your child from class for a mere social function is not recommended because it retards his/her progress in college and minimizes his/her respect for regular hard work & attendance.
8. Encourage your child to cultivate the habits of neatness, self help and systematic work.
9. Ensure that your child does not bring any costly GADGETS to college. College will not be responsible for it in WHATSOEVER MANNER.
